Oak tree on south-eastern boundary of property: Reduce height of main stem by approximately one third, as tree is leaning heavily towards the house.

Reduce height of Palm tree (Trachycarpus fortunei) to 1.8 metres, due to proximity to summer house, boundary fence and overhead power cable.

Undertake work to four ash trees covered by DFTPO11 (A3). Remove two small diameter ash trees identified with pink crosses. Tree 1 and 2 on accompanying map. DBH is approximately 20cm. Situated approximately 2m away from the boundary wall but growing towards the light in a southerly direction one of which will strike the wall and shed/woodstore in the neighbouring property, Rockfields, if it fell. Both trees are suffering with the onset of ADB to stage 3 (50% to 75% canopy loss). The third tree is of larger diameter at approximately 50 cm DBH. With ADB to stage 2/3 this tree has one large limb of approximate diameter 30cm, at approximately 7m up the stem. The branch is leaning out over the garden of Rockfields and will strike the property if it fell. The removal of this one branch would reduce the risk of damage to person and property within the grounds of Rockfield. Tree four is again a large diameter with a DBH of approximately 60cm. It is growing on top/very close to the boundary wall. At approximately 5m the tree bifurcates into two large stems each of approximately 30-40cm diameter. Overall height of the tree is estimated at 20-25m. This tree has a heavy lean towards the property of Rockfields and has the capability of causing serious damage upon failing. It is also suffering ADB to stage 2. The application for work to this tree is to pollard at a height of approximately 6m in order to retain some of the stem for biodiversity and to monitor and manage accordingly.

(1) Twin stemmed Lawson Cypress by the potting shed. Fell to near ground level to allow more space for the Walnut to grow into. (2) Weeping Ash on the boundary. This tree is now showing signs of Ash Dieback. Fell to near ground level.

Remove storm damaged boughs from two fir trees in front garden. Reduce height of Silver Birch in front garden by approximately 40%. Reduce height of conifer in back garden by approximately 50%. Remove storm damaged boughs from fir tree in back garden. Remove bough of Walnut tree next to boundary fence in back garden.

Removal of 1 x Silver Birch tree that is damaging boundary wall and leaning towards adjacent property. Removal of 1 x Elder that is damaging neighbour's fence. 40% crown reduction of 5 x Silver Birch trees reducing risk to overhead fibre cable. 40% crown reduction of 1 x Maple with intention to reshape. 50% crown reduction of 1x Hawthorn tree with intention to reshape and incorporate in new hedgerow. Works to 1 x Oak tree to include a crown reduction of 20% and crown thin of 10% reducing risk to overhead fibre cable.

Remove 1 x Conifer on northern property boundary near the Methodist Church, due to tree getting too tall and casting excessive shade.

1 x Cypress on boundary of Conservation Area. Fell to improve light into the property.

Fell 1 X Silver Birch due to excessive size in proximity to the house and neighbouring Primary School, and causing damage to boundary wall. Replant with 1 x Silver Birch in the front garden further away from the house and boundary wall.

Pollard 3 x Willow on eastern boundary to facilitate the reintroduction of a Hawthorn/Beech hedge. Coppice 1 x Willow on northern boundary. Pollard 1 x Willow by pond due to excessive size.
