Access to the building is via the main dwelling along the back garden. Internal access is provided by 4 sliding doors along the west elevation. High level glazing is present along the east elevation, 6 panes, and a singular window is present on the south elevation. The external walls of the small building are set back 2 metres from the boundaries on all sides and a significant proportion of the building is below the hedge line. The external walls are clad in shou-sugi-ban charred timber cladding and the roof is clad with VM Zinc Anthra, both materials match the alterations and extensions of the main house which have been given planning consent.
