Construction of an additional storey to the existing bungalow to provide first floor accommodation by raising the roof by 1.5m.

Prior Notification (Householder) - since being built. The proposed extension would provide a larger living area/kitchen and an additional 3rd bedroom; timber clad with bi-fold doors out from the living space and 3rd bedroom out to the garden. A roof lantern would provide light to the rear of the living space. The addition of the extension and modernisation of the bungalow would mean that the building could be effectively insulated and it is intended that all windows are double glazed. The front of the bungalow would remain largely unchanged apart from redecoration and general maintenance. Please refer to attached drawings and photographs. (Block plan, elevations, roof layout, floor layout, photographs of the existing bungalow). The timber clad in a dark colour has been chosen to be in keeping with other buildings in the local area, complimenting the existing building. There is a 600mm difference between the inside floor level and the external ground level so it is proposed to install a deck built in two levels with safety barrier hedge and planting, steps surrounding, indicated on the drawings.

Removal of existing chalet bungalow roof and addition of new first floor accommodation with new pitched roof to match existing, including dormer windows and rooms. The height of the dwelling house once the additional storey is added will be no more than 8.1m

Prior Notification (Householder) - A First floor Extension over an existing single-storey bungalow. It is proposed to physically separate the property from the adjoining bungalow to form a detached residence. A section of the bungalow will be retained as single-storey to step the roof line down to the scale of the neighbouring properties facing Kingston Farm Road. The materials used on the first floor extension will exactly match the original dwelling. The roof pitches will also match the original dwelling and neighbouring homes along Cherry Tree Road and Kingston Farm Road. No new openings will be made on the elevation facing Kingston Farm Road.

Prior approval for a larger home extension - To demolish existing garage and lean-to on detached bungalow. To rebuild a single-storey flat roof extension to become a dining room to include a small WC.
