1 Bay tree (hidden under cherry tree planted in 1 The Croft). 30% height reduction plus pruning 2 Bronze leafed tree - up to 50% reduction of the height of the crown. Previous pruning led to a growth spurt, so there are lots of small branches growing straight up and we'd like to prune those out 3 Leylandii -up to 30% reduction to keep in check 4 Leylandii - 5 A group of three silver barked birch trees. These need reduction of about 25% as they are now very close to the roof of the house. 6 Yew tree 30% height reduction and pruning as the space is very congested. 7 Holly tree - not sure if this counts as a tree or shrub. About 20% all round prune to get back to a (more or less) conical shape

Line of trees T1 to T7 on rear property boundary, medium mature trees crowded out inhibiting lower growth and broader tree health. Amended works specification T1 Yew has been withdrawn for the 211 Notice and no longer to be considered. 2. Ash tree - the proposal is for it to be felled- in the corner of the front garden- its branches overhang onto the roundabout and this is a hazard as er have witnesses lorries hit the branches as they are driving. * the way the tree is growing is that is pushing against the fence which will over time be damaged by the tree * the tree blocks out much light in the front room - hence room is always cold- mould in it last Winter * do not plan to replace - it is on a corner and hazardous to oncoming traffic at the roundabout- nor do we want the fence to be compromised as it is being now 3- Holly tree- would like this to be felled- it has a * low amenity value- blocks out light and we had to have a holly tree felled years ago as it was bending towards the roof of the house and a health and safety hazard

A limb of a multi-stemmed Lime tree failed and fell on the garage roof of a residential house. I have cleared the fallen stem but would like consent to coppice the remainder of the tree to ground level as I am concerned from a safety perspective due to decay in the base.

Group T1: Small dead elms, fell T2: Hazel, (shown in photo 1), we would reduce by approximately 2.5 - 3m to bring back in line with the kerb. All branches pruned will be cut to suitable growth points. T3: Large dead tree, approx. 12 metres tall (difficult to identify a species), fell T4: Ash (fraxinus excelsior), to reduce the branches extending over the roof of Elizabeth house by approximately 3m. This will help mitigate the chance of large branch failure, as these branches are on a co-dominant stem of the ash tree, that is leaning in the direction of the building. T5: Windblown dead hawthorn, fell Group T6: Approximately 8 Oaks (quercus robur) and 1 sweet chestnut (castenea sativa). All roughly 18-22m tall. These trees are all over hanging the roof, and in many cases multiple branches are touching the roof of Elizabeth House. We would like to reduce these branches laterally by 2.5-3m, and in doing so create a 3 metre clearance of the roof. We would also remove deadwood over the roof of the building. T7: Declining, ivy clad hawthorn. Situated on the steep bank behind Elizabeth House, this tree is leaning towards the building and is in a state of decline, with around 20% leaf coverage of the canopy. It is tall for a hawthorn at approximately 8m in height, with a 2m spread. We would like to fell this tree to mitigate the potential hazard. T8: Oak (quercus robur), approximately 19 metres in height. To remove hazardous deadwood and also to reduce the lowest 2 branches by 2m. These branches are a little over-extended, protrude significantly from the canopy line of the tree, and are over the busiest area of the business premises, with the bin area, and frequent activity beneath them. I feel the reduction is justified considering the frequency of targets below. N.B I would have included more photos in the application, but all of the photos I have taken of the trees, apart from the one of the hazel, are over the 10 megabyte limit
