Variation of condition 1 of planning permission dated 4th October 2022 (RN 22/00448/FULL) for the demolition of the existing hipped roof and construction of a roof extension, a rear extension involving the infill of an existing undercroft area at ground floor, the replacement of an existing link building (between the building fronting Chapel Side and Esca House to the rear) and an additional second floor storey, and the excavation of a basement under the main building, in association with the change of use of the ground and first to residential flats (Class C3). Replacement windows to the front and rear elevations, and the creation of a terrace and green roof on the rear extension roof at third floor level and a terrace at rear fourth floor level. NAMELY, to increase size of basement level and creation of associated lightwell; Alterations to fenestration; relocation and alteration of rear dormers; Internal changes to layout of residential accommodation; and associated external alterations.

Application under Section 73 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990 to carry out development without compliance with Condition 1 (Approved Plans) of Planning Permission ref: 21/03750/FUL (Demolition of existing house and erection of three storey dwellinghouse (including accommodation in roofspace) and erection of new boundary fencing to left hand side and installation of new entrance gate) dated 26/01/2022. Variation to consist of the following changes by removing single storey room at rear, amendments to roof form of two storey front extension and alterations to the pitch of the main roof slope, including increasing the width of the rear dormer window and scale of the front dormer windows, alteration to window scale and detailing, adding obscure glazed windows to the side elevations, and materials to front and rear elevations; replacing the front side boundary on the right hand side; and addition of solar panels, and air-conditioning units relocated at high level towards the rear of the house.
